Thanks for stopping by. It may seem a little random or quirky, there are quite a few different things on here.

My story might help clear that up a bit, so here we go!

Hi, I’m Mary!

welcome to my website!

My determination and desire to become a fashion designer, a passion that started at a very young age, landed me at Parsons the New School for Design in New York City. While I enjoyed design, I also found other passions around fashion photography and journalism. I started a blog in 2011, where I wrote about fashion and published street style photographs. Through the next few years I continued to blog, traveling to London, Paris and Italy to capture street style, and had several photographs published in print and online. I wrote for CollegeFashionista throughout my four years, And I held internships at high profile companies such as Women’s Wear Daily and Fashionista.com.

I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was seven years old.

that + a deep love of fashion have shaped much of my life.

my senior year at parsons i specialized in  children's clothing and created a collection for girls ages six through twelve inspired by my favorite character, longtime love and muse eloise (from the plaza, darling!)    See it Here!

In 2015, I worked with myabetic, a diabetes supply case company, to help design the line of animal themed children’s diabetes bags.

I found that I needed a bit of a break from fashion and was lucky enough to be hired at Beyond Type 1,  After just a few weeks of working as the community manager I realized how quickly I had fallen in love with this new job. Working in diabetes or healthcare was never something I had imagined for myself, but here I was loving it! After nearly five years at beyond Type 1, I was hired as the Product and Experience Designer at Myabetic. Such a full circle moment!

I love fashion and I love diabetes, so I want to share all of that! I love cute outfits, I love watching fashion shows and I love obsessing over shoes. I match my diabetes supplies and cases to my outfits, while this website, a combination of fashion, photography, art, diabetes and style might seem odd - it is so perfectly me!
